Tattooing has a very long history that dates back to over 5000 years ago. Perhaps, the idea of the tattoos removal also appeared at around the same time. But till nowadays the attempts of the 50 cent tattoo removal were nowhere near the desired results.

Laser emits highly focused beam of light that safely passes through the epidermis and, being absorbed by the tattoo pigment, damages it. This is the way the 50 cent tattoo removal occurs.
Since the absorption rate of the highly focused light is very high, the energy of the light absorption by the pigment is conversed into a high temperature. A sudden raise of temperature breaks the pigment into the small fragments. After that these fragments are egested from the body by the lymphatic system.
A certain wave-length of the luminous flux allows the beam to easily pass through epidermis and accumulate on the particles of pigment. That is to say, saving the integrity of the epidermis sheets allows to 50 cent tattoo removal without any scars.
