50 Cent Movie: Expressive Scripts, Impressive Cast, Unforgettable Tattoos.

Not that long ago Curtis Jackson III known all over the world as 50 Cent has slowly but firmly turned from a hip-hop and rapper star into a script writer and actor. A great deal of 50 Cent movie has gone a short route from the movie screen to DVD. The 50 Cent movie list is quite impressive. It counts up to 21 pictures. The cast in most movies is really great: Samuel L Jackson, Christina Ricci, Val Kilmer, Sharon Stone and many others.

It all started in 2005 with the 50 Cent movie under the title “Get Rich or Die Tryin’”. The picture tells us a story of a young man who had always known he would be a rapper. But he has to go a very long way to achieve his dream. His mother’s death, drugs and prison turn his life upside down. And these are not the only difficulties he has to face through the story. In the end he plucks up his courage and gets what he has always wanted the most. Everything is very much alike in real life.

For quite a long period of time 50 Cent got the parts of policemen, gangsters or drug dealers in action or crime-and-drama movies. With his numerous tattoos and Afro-American appearance he fitted a gangster- or a policeman-character perfectly. But that was then and this is now.

In 2010 50 Cent was offered a part in the movie “All Things Fall Apart”. To get into the role 50 Cent lost nearly 54 pounds and had several tattoos on his arms removed by laser. They were all over his body: back, stomach, neck, arms. Though a great number of tattoos still remains and attracts attention of all tattoo-fans all over the world.

Tattoos on his body are in most cases large pieces. The most famous is the one that’s on his back. It was produced by a famous tattoo artist form California Mister Cartoon. Each tattoo has its story and represents a definite period of 50 Cent’s life.

Nowadays tattoos have worked their way into all social groups. What once was a signature of definite groupings (e.g. Japanese tattoo meanings help to differentiate yakuza groupings representatives) has now developed into a popular art. Thus, a great number of 50 Cent’s fans dream of looking like him. Some of them have money and get tattooed by professionals, others are ready to tattoo themselves with a homemade tattoo gun to avoid expenses. The only thing is that once applied a tattoo is very hard to remove. Besides, it will cost a fortune. Of course, it’s cool to look like somebody as famous as 50 Cent. But what will you do when time goes on? So, think twice. Is it the best way to attract attention?
